A Dinning Experience in Sicily

Down this lovely street is some of the best restaurants in Sicily.

Well decorated with twinkly lights and outdoor seating, this is the place to eat in Catania, Sicily.
I felt as if I was in a fairy tale while I was eating this meal.
I enjoyed several meals down this street but the one that stood out the most was at the restaurant Polpetteria.

Polpetteria

Polpetteria is know for the classic Sicilian dish of meatballs. They have over 45 different types of meatballs on their menu including the local dish of horse meatballs. I was not brave enough to try the horse meatballs but I did try a local version of beef meatballs. They were absolutely amazing. Taking a simple dish such as meatballs and transforming it into a culinary experience is a true gift that Polpetteria posses. 

Paired with a glass of red wine and the ambience of the restaurant this was a prefect meal. There was even a guitar player singing Italian tunes across the street. The service was outstanding and eager to give recommendations on what you should try. I ended this meal with two scoops of gelato to make it the perfect Italian meal.
