History Behind the Burger
The hamburger originates from the hamburger steak, a culinary specialty served in brioche bread as a dish for workers in Germany canteens. It is thus thanks to the successive waves of European immigration to the New World in the nineteenth century that the hamburger is successful in America and all over the world.
Who Wants a Burger now?
Recently, I had an amazing burger in Saint Etienne, France. Pictured above is my meal from California Burger. They recently opened their second location close to Jean Monnet university. This restaurant is affordable and tasty making it perfect for college students.You can choose from beef and chicken burgers with many toppings. Mine even had an egg on it!
